The use of swam trap technology is the part of the BeeMaster System we call
"preventive" bee control. When used properly, preventive bee control will
solve any bee problem before it happens! The use of swarm traps in bee control
is unique to the BeeMaster System. Swarm traps are artificial nesting sites
for swarms of honey bees. A pheromone lure entices the swarm into the trap
instead of into a natural nest-site. Inside the trap, the bees begin to make
a nest and are removed long before they become defensive of their new home.
This is what the BeeMaster System can do for you:
A physical analysis of your property by Steven Thoenes, Ph.D. or another BeeMaster-certified
employee, the only authorities on swarm trapping systems in
the State of Arizona. At this time you will be notified of existing honey
bee colonies and potentially dangerous situations where feral (wild) honey
bee colonies are nesting or could choose to take up residence in
a building wall or elsewhere on your property.
Placement of swarm traps in strategic locations
on and around your property boundaries as determined by BeeMaster personnel.
Follow-up examination to validate the proper placement and positioning
of the swarm traps on your property to ensure protection of
your real estate and to achieve maximum capture of transient swarms of honey
bees.
Weekly monitoring of all BeeMaster traps on your property and
subsequent removal of all honey bee swarms, including the less dangerous
European Honey Bees as well as all Africanzied or "KILLER" BEES.
Complete control of any other bee swarm or resident honey bee colonies
that may develop, at no additional cost to you, when covered under the BeeMaster
System. Peace of mind for yourself, your employees, friends and visitors
knowing that the risk of honey bee attacks or nuisance foraging bees (at
swimming pools, trash cans etc.) has been eliminated or greatly reduced.
